Abstract
This paper examines the possibility how an organisation can strategically be redesigned in order to maintain sustainable competitive advantage, Hence, the urgency for change is stressed, as the business environment is more unstable and unpredictable. Sustainable competitive advantage in this paper is scoped as a strong focus on innovation in a Marketing and Sales Environment.

Practical Relevance
From a broader perspective a integrated approach is proposed where innovation merits from (a) an adaptive strategy (b) management of creativity and (c) an agile organisation.
From a managerial perspective the framework provides implications on all levels of the organisation, in order to support decision making.
