Abstract
This article investigates how the neuroscience behind organisational concepts as Goal Setting, Group Dynamics and Attitudes and Behaviours may help explain the effectiveness of Dutch industry measures taken after the financial crisis in 2009.

Practical Relevance
Adding neuro-scientific insights to traditional organiSational change programs may help companies make those programs more effective. Complementarity to traditional organisational behaviour literature, neuroscience may provide extra insight on how change can be facilitated “from within” instead of “controlled from above”.
